if US debt is money we own to ourselves then we owe it to ourselves to make the future as magnificent as possible and stop spending money on the war machine

If us debt was only owned by the living in USA, that would have been great. The whole world has some in one form or another. It's too big to fail. If it does, it will be ugly...
