I think people give Elon too much credit. His massive wealth is built on a government funded climate scam and he probably bought twitter thinking he would be able to bootstrap doge onto it and pump his shitcoin bags to the moon. He had a chance to connect twitter to lightening but didn't take it because that would mean progress for Bitcoin with no super pay off for him.
