Learning about self custody was a couple months process for me as well. I tragically started my journey on the shitcoin casino which is coinbase and let them hold my keys for a while.
Happy to say I’ve never been rugged though!
Thankful for the Bitcoin community being so vocal about self custody, or we all might still be there too
