1. Did you already blocked anything from Chinese?

2. Is Chinese added to your Android keyboard languages?

3. Do you have Google Play services installed?

So translation needs Google Play Services to work? That's a major bummer if so.

To download the AI model of the language you need. After that it's all on-device.

I see. Looks like I'll have to wait for an alternative method to be developed. Not a big deal atm, I haven't seen much Chinese spam in global today.
