True. And that’s also an average good bike.

So the wrights built their plane for $5000 as I recall which using the same numbers is about $175,000 which is about the cost of your average home built aircraft today.

Yeah things have always been roughly the same for each generation. People go on about how “cheap” things were generations ago but salaries back then were equally low too.
