this last couple of days after developing some unpleasant pains in my extremities, and even my scalp, i have been trying something to force-limit my intake of nicotine.

the plan goes like this:

when i wannan cigarette, i'm willing to go to a lot of effort to get it. so i have to climb the hill and go to the place where i left my cigarettes, and i allow myself to only take one, and then usually smoke it sitting on a rock next to the road part way back.

when the urge is meh, i am like, meh, i'm not walking all the way up there to get a cigarette.

once i get it into my head i'm gonna go up there, bonus points is i'm ascending a slope about 30m higher altitude, getting some sunshine, and by the time i get there, my blood is pumping and everything is flowing nicely, my lungs are full of oxygen and my blood is lively.

then i have my smoke, and after that, i walk back downstairs to my place, with the cigarettes left behind where i have to repeat this process to get another one.

i think i've increased my cardio and lower body resistance loading by like 3-4x normal, and in a few days of doing this i can feel i'm getting stronger. which makes me feel better.

it's funny, i'm literally like holding a stick with a carrot on the end in front of my own eyes and pretending i'm not holding the stick

but it works!

circulation problem is basically gone because i've cut back intake, and probably double that, because my blood is actually circulating.

I need a hill to put my fridge on.

yeah, this hill is serious, it's like my smokes are at the top floor of a 10 storey building and i'm living in the basement

i gotta go easy tomorrow though, i'm on the edge of overtraining
