I’m not really up to date with the Telegram and #FreePavel story. I just know the guy got arrested. So if anyone could give me a quick update, I’d be happy.

It DOES use encryption, it just rarely uses E2EE.

It did not. So they have data and control the state wants, but did not share.

e2e encryption in personal messaging only with Telegram. There is no encryption in group chats
