Recently, I watched part of the movie Twisters.
Movie was designed to normalize geo engineering - let’s inject metal mixtures in clouds and tornadoes.
Movies made in most recent decades remain suspect.

So many movies are programming or at least feeling out public response to certain policies
Neal Stephenson also has a book called "Termination Shock" that focuses on shooting sulfur into the atmosphere to block the sun. The novel is pretty good, and he discusses the consequences of geoengineering. Also, doing something like this might benefit the mid range latitudes (US, Europe, etc. -- i.e. rich countries), but could badly effect other countries who depend on the monsoon season. The name of the novel "Termination Shock" refers to once you get to a point in this geoengineering, it is worse (a shock) "terminating" the geoengineering than to just keep it going. Many on the climate change bandwagon dont consider Termination Shock a book about climate change. i.e. it doesn't focus on switching out combustion engines with electric, etc. So, since it doesnt follow their tactics, it isnt a book about climate change.
