I was reading about the censorship in the latest two entries of Fire Emblem. A lot of the censored dialogue revolves around women interacting or talking about men. This makes me wonder if the people translating have ever interacted with women before or if they think women are perfect angels who can do no wrong. I worked at a majority female call center in the past and collaborated with women in charity organizations. I can attest to this: women talk much more about sex and men's appearance than men, MUCH MORE. WOMEN CAN'T SHUT UP ABOUT SEX WHEN THEY ARE TALKING WITH OTHER WOMEN. I HAVE NEVER TALKED HEARD MEN TALKING ABOUT SEX BEFORE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

I imagine they were probably trying to get the characters to pass the Bechdel test. There are many people who were taught and believe if a woman character can not pass it than they are a bad character or poorly written.
