The most interesting issue is privacy on chain. If BCH would provide onchain privacy like Monero, i would dump my BTC on Wallstreet and never look back.
I never really examined BCH or Monerk that closely. Apparently Monero has had adaptive block sizes for years. Seems like a reasonable idea for block sizes issues, but again, not something I've really looked at. I don't have issues with either. MDS is affecting a lot of people though.
