The embedded node but just trying to pay a regular invoice to.... Any of my other wallets. Any amount.

I even tried to be cautious only paying invoices when I heard the zaplocker thing Zeus implemented was causing some for Mutiny a bit ago 🤷
Ah well. At least I'm aware of a lot the pitfalls, try to keep what I have on LN spread around some just for things like this.

The new request incoming liquidity feature is very nice too.
I've been tempted to try it but still have a bunch from when I spliced in some more. Been trying to keep it high and not splice out and lose any lately though.
It is a great wallet though. Never even had an issue with the switch from old to new version.

Makes all my frequent Strike to Phoenix stacking very efficient, and then I can just splice out to cold storage in 2 million sats chunks. Granted I could just let it pile up in Strike and then send to cold storage, but I'd rather have it accumulate in a wallet that I actually hold a seed phrase to.
Using lightning exactly like this the last year has helped me a lot with my on chain utxo set.
Being able to get away from an exchange in $5 chunks to a more self custodial option, even with the tradeoffs of lightning without my own LN node, and eventually moving on chain in a more planned way than doing lump sums or having a bunch of tiny utxo like I've done in the past.
Helped a lot with consistent DCA for me.
My kids have a whole shitload of 100k sat UTXOs that I need to consolidate for them on chain. Been bugging their mom for a couple weeks to get me their open dimes so I can sweep them to a coldcard.
