You are to me like a person that says the LN doesn't work. Since I do it EVERY day, any claim that it can't be done, is too hard, etc. is not worth listening to.
Maybe read nostr:npub17u5dneh8qjp43ecfxr6u5e9sjamsmxyuekrg2nlxrrk6nj9rsyrqywt4tp's article. He worked on email software for a decade, and has far more experience than you or I.
