Yeah so it's converting the custom thinking react to the normal like. In some it drops it altogether.

Sort of. Reacts are very common on the fedi side of things to convey how you feel about something. So you might like or dislike something. Or thinking about it, laugh react, random stuff like I got a reddit snoojak added to an instance so that I could react to let people know their post was reddit dogshit.

Yep. There are quite a few really funny bots and some aren't as obviously named so people get into arguments with them lol.
