I’ve ran a raspiblitz for about 2 years now on a raspberry pi. I use it with Core-Lightning and Zeus mobile wallet to sync to it through LAN or Tor network.

I’ve also used Sparrow wallet from my Laptop macOS to connect directly to my bItcoin node.

I’ve done a few transactions using a Cold Card. Cold-card is a great hardware signer in my opinion. It’s an air-gapped wallet so I like that.

I’ve also used Ledger Nano S. But I’d stay away from it. I use it as a Fido U2F signer now.

Raspiblitz is an awesome project,a great place to start if your into tinkering with the command line If the opportunity ever arises.

There’s also Umbrel, but the last time I used that one was more than 2 years ago.

My gut-check feel before I fire up a node is like I'm a mouse about to eat some tasty peanut butter from an odd-looking wooden plank. I don't know what I don't know about network security, and have not seen sufficient guidance for plebs on setting up a node. Scenario plays out like:

Me: fires up node according to instructions

Everyone: hooray! ⚡️

Me: why can't I see my addresses and why is my blockchain data just jpegs of amputated testicle tumors?!

Everyone: you didn't install z1pspr33?!

Me: wtf is z1pspr33

Everyone: lol the '?!' Is part of the name of the software, stupid.
