As player, you are jewel merchants. The objective is to aquire 15 points (top left of card)

On your turn you can either:

A, select 2-3*¹ jewel chips

B, purchase a jewel card with jewel chips or purchased cards*¹ (price bottom left of cards)

C, "book" a card (only you can buy it) and collect a gold chip (can be used as any color)

Players must gain 15 points by collecting jewel cards with points or by completing assignments of the aristocrats (eg: collect 4 blue and 4 red cards)

3 Aristocrats are drawn by random at the start of the game.

Players 2-4, and it's a game that is actually fun even with only 2 players. Highly recommend!

*¹ 2 of the same color or 3 different ones

*² when used, chips must be returned to bank while cards may be used indefinitely. If you collect enough cards, new cards can be bought for "free"
