I’ve seen others try. Doesn’t seem to work.
Nostr isn't quite there yet with the "breaking news" kinda stuff. I'm sure we'll get there eventually. We still so early with this thing.
If that day comes, I hope to have an option to disable anything to do with news. Otherwise gonna have to fork a client.
Looking out further, I'm wondering if Nostr might have some relays that act as central points for news relay. Can opt-in to use news relays? Haven't fully thought it through - not 100% up-to-speed on this tech
