Not an extension but Mull https://f-droid.org/packages/us.spotco.fennec_dos/ on android (CalyxOS) and https://librewolf.net/ on Linux. Using Firefox sync bookmarks are clear, organised and easily retrievable across devices. Pretty good privacy.
I use Brave which works across desktop and mobile and has great support for syncing bookmarks, history and even open tabs.

I love raindrop. Would like to have a #foss alternative for it though.
I found it in my searches, I'm testing it too. A FOOS version would be really great.
Not really an extension, I use Shaarli. It is a selfhosted bookmark manager that you can access from any device. A simple bookmarklet lets you add new nores/bookmarks. iOS and Android both have native apps. Do check it!
