I deleted my main account because it was messing with my mental. People I knew seemed to be living one way but presenting themselves on IG in another.

I’m super grateful for #nostr. It is what you make it.

Seems like the way the app built incentivize them to do just that. I delete the app at 20:30 everyday, and only download it back during my lunch break the next day (only to answer my messages). I definetly want to delete my account someday

Oh most definitely, it plays on our desires and insecurities.

I don’t have the app at all. I did a slow delete first it was the app then I noticed they wanted me to do the face recognition thing to keep the account so I deleted it. I have a finsta but solely so I can look up techs and contractors but I don’t have an account w/pics or anything.

I’ve felt better since I stopped having a real one… it just takes time.
