nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft, I'm adding a relay usage called "discovery" to gossip where you can mark a relay as a directory for kind-10002 events. In testing it, I set wss://purplepag.es/ to discovery. When I ran it, it subscribed to everybody I follow, kind 10002. I got back just 1 event (hodlbod's) and then EOSE. I'm presuming purplepag.es isn't ready yet, is this correct? Maybe you were waiting on a client that could use it? BTW I have 57 relay lists (kind 10002) in my local client database for the 132 people I follow.

I've been tinkering with purplepag.es because I felt like it would be a huge benefit to gossip, but didn't know why I didn't see a very big difference. Now I know.

I am very excited to see you are working on this though, because gossip is simply the best client on desktop, especially for someone like me that runs so many operating systems.

Thanks for all that you do.

Damn, thats super weird; did you query with authors: your follow list and kinds 10002 or just the kinds filter?

Either way, ill look into ti; i have a much better indexer now so i can feed a lot better data into it

So psyched about this new directory-relays functionality on gossip!!!! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ
