AustinMesh is doing a lot of great work on YouTube and other legacy platforms advancing knowledge about deploying and building mesh network communities. I recommend checking them out wherever you can.
Additionally, if you are a member of an amateur radio group, bring up meshtastic and projects like the one in the video link as potential club projects that will bring in new people into radio.
If you never participated in a club, show up to a local group and when you introduce yourself, let them know that you are interested in things like this. They won’t all be interested, but many will be.
