Limiting free speech has one benefit: Once you start to demand borders you then need an authority to patrol them.
This moves the issue into the arena of subjectivity, which is a centralised powers dream bc THEY get to define what is and isn’t permissible.
Shortly after, it is the truth that is deemed to be hate speech and prohibited. 
This is terrible and evil. But still, this is what EU plebs “deserve” for not fighting back and for propping up the EU as a legitimate institution. As a general rule, the people get the state they deserve — Europeans as a whole have been too weak for too long.
Just criminalize being born and get over with it. Just prosecute who you want when you want it.
