I’ve been very intentional about following since joining nostr. I’m looking for high signal, real humans, and interesting perspectives. I truthfully am wary of the photo as vagabond is saying, because of the “real human” part. Being honest.

Everyone gets to choose how they present themselves and there’s nothing wrong with avatars or whatever. I’m inclined to trust a cartoon over a stock photo for some reason. Continuing to think about why
