zaps got me to use lightning for the first time and now it’s (mostly) not scary anymore. Bet that’s true for lots of folks.

Same here.. I didn't have the need of using #lightning before #Nostr.

met nostr yesterday, joined today, and got a bitcoin wallet _as a side effect_
and the wild part is that I also got zapped today
I've used it, sent from my node, for purchases before which is very cool. But yeah, zaps are going to onboard a lot of folks.
