Some folks are dead-set against AI; others are all in.

Here’s where I stand: I think it’s fun—and useful.

AI tools like ChatGPT helped me build a realistic budget that’s actually getting us out of debt. It’s great for marketing, planning, and tightening up my writing so I don’t ramble and my grammar stays sharp.

But when it comes to things that matter—writing a poem for my wife, painting, writing a song, deciphering nuanced insurance policies—I think AI takes away more than it gives. It can assist, but it shouldn’t replace human creativity.

We’re in an AI bubble. Billions have been poured into it, and one day the hype will deflate. When that happens, we’ll see AI for what it really is: a fun, helpful tool in the hands of ordinary people.
