The irony in this statement from the White House is astonishing. Biden complains about another nation detaining a journalist for doing his investigative job.

You know, yesterday I was going to write to you that "I have no idea how the British government has ANY dignity at all to even entertain the idea of freedom of speech."
But I thought this was too much of a platitude and so I held back.
Now you post this and I'm amazed at the level of the insult and offense these cunts can actually display. Julian is one person, that for a reason or another, had some press, but the number of anonymous people under the same circumstances is probably much larger than we can fathom.
The funny thing is that Evan may well have been a USG plant, whereas Julian Assange exposed the USG. It makes sense if you look at it from that point of view.
