I'm not sure about that. Calvin Coolidge did more I think by beinglaissez-faire. Lincoln virtue signalled and recognized the already strong abolitionist movement as justified too. Thomas Jefferson banned the importation of slaves.

I don't trust "activists," or politicians, some of Trump's policies really did help, because he surrounded himself with people who knew what they were doing. The tax plan was a huge improvement. He definitely did better for blacks than Biden or Obama or Bush.
