Gotta give #Apple credit for what they're still good at... planned obsolescence.

Was gonna give this Apple Watch to my dad since I have zero use for it, but apparently his iPhone is too old to make a Bluetooth connection to Apple's own smartwatch.

(A good mechanical watch will literally outlive the owner, js.)

Still haven’t found a better watch then my fathers Omega that was passed down to me (it was passed onto him as well).

Although my Citizen is doing me very well too.

Would splurge on newest Watch 9s for kids but can't due to them using OG SEs, which themselves work great in child-sized hands and even get security updates. Not gonna buy new adult-sized phones for them. Analog watches work fine.
