An rpi4 is practically a lost cause. Might sync the chain on an external USB drive in a month.

For sure, but I was specifically talking about nix-bitcoin for the purposes of making an RPi4 a node. A lightning node perhaps.

- home pbx over voip with asterisk

- temp/pressure monitoring for home brewing

- retro gaming

- proximity alert device

- tons of robotics projects

- music player

- automate garden watering

- add a LoRa hat and do meshtastic

- etc., etc., etc
