The largest lightning channel is 14 BTC. I’ve personally made payments over 0.5 BTC with Lightning.
Payment size mainly limited by max capacity on route - so depends upon an unknown set of data points
Point to point - say exchange to exchange - those are usually private and limits are only the channel size you can afford to open
Practically, 10m sats seems upper bound for me - had some succeed and others fail
