It totally is my business, since this is a war that's happening on the border of the EU, where I live.

More broadly, I don't like having a terrorist warlord mafia regime as a neighbor, who wages a perpetual psychological war against us -- only because so far he hasn't been able to wage a hot one. Especially against its former colonies in the Baltic, East and Central Europe who do suffer immediate, physical consequences of this harassment daily.

As for the US' business - I have long said Trump is right and justified to demand that Europe takes care of its own defense. The deranged speeches and comments he and his circle are making are at least half for the purpose of shocking Europe into getting its shit together. Again, I'm 100% for that.

The other half is where the line is crossed and they wade into absurd lies and outright support for Russia. If helping Ukraine is not the business of the US, neither is helping Russia.

Doing that can only be explained by a mix of good old American ignorance and lack of education, or more worryingly, for other more material reasons that for the last 10 years I have refused to believe exist - and so far I am still choosing to believe it's ignorance and lack of education.
