Anyone who is following/reading this note, I am imminently going to be in Madeira, and I am as a scout to find a place to move to, I figured as a part of that I should try to find the local Bitcoiners in the area to connect with.

I recall there was a guy who was interviewed about this, and they had some kind of Bitcoin education place set up, I'd quite like to check that out but I forget his exact name, all that I have in my memory is Alex Lojas or something like this, apologies for forgetting.

Anyone who is on the island already, of course, be it known that more of us plebs are coming. We being the two guys working on the Indranet project.

The island looks beautiful, I hope the move is easy and that everything works out well. You'll have to post pics of random spots around the island so we can enjoy it vicariously through you😉

I'm gonna take photos but none close to where I live and not posting them until I'm far away from where they were taken. Opsec > sharing.

It’s sad isn’t it, one wants to share but at the same time it isn’t safe to do so.

I have some lovely holiday pics I want to share on here but also don’t want to over share.

One day we’ll have a solution for that too 😊

I already have a solution for myself. I have a set of codes to recognise psychopathic behaviour, and any such person is not getting any more of my attention.

Solving the problem en masse is going to require the assistance of experts with weapons better than all of the militaries combined. I believe they are well in hand with the preparations for this.

Pretty sure nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe and Daniel Prince went over there to help setup Bitcoin ideas. Maybe ask them 🤙

And best place to find and talk with people on the island is

I only use matrix now. Not negotiable.

Alex Lojas is close enough! 😂 How can I be of service? DM me at will!

Ah, there you are!

Bom dia!

I'd love to visit the co-working space some time. Yes, my memory was not so good, it was some time ago you featured in Bitcoin Magazine.

Would be good to get a little intro to the local Bitcoin community and maybe you will find the project I'm working on interesting.

Oh yeah, and the politics, how to not get involved xD

When will you come? We have a Meetup every first Thursday of the month…

Well, damn that's tomorrow. How do I find it?

Never mind, I found that too.

I indirectly learned the location, now, I am digging up the time.

I'm gonna pass on this month because the time of the meeting means I am gonna pay 20-25 euro to get back home and I'm still recovering from all my walking back and forth around Camacha last week. I've gotta keep pushing to get myself a full time job since nobody is paying me to work on Indra after this month, and that also means I'm having to swallow shitcoin jobs (ethereum and cosmos related) which takes a lot of my spirit away as well, and while I have two strong possibilities, I MUST get one happening in the next two weeks.
