Mind you, I am in germany - whatever waves crash on our shores, news-wise, is usually just the tip of the iceberg and I hear about the more in-depth stuff through friends or Nostr and it's ... interesting, for the lack of a better term.

Back when Trump first went for election, I decided to just treat the entire political landscape and reporting on it as nothing less than a stageplay drama and treated it as such. Who would come out as the victor, who is the villain and so on and so forth xD It was the only way I could deal with this pure nonsense that unfolded in that time (and still does).

I wonder what intrinsic details I don't even know about that happen over there across the pond that are either even more infuriating or straight up go against any and all values of what "democracy" means. o.o;
