#[0] can we get the ability to specify whether or not we want to download, upload, or both for each individual relay in our relay list?

Biggest use case imo, write to public relays, but don't read, because of the the high spam to signal ratio.

If the main relays are censoring you, you can use a relay proxy like blastr to broadcast your posts to many relays without having to individually connect to them. In doing that though, you probably don't want to pull in posts from those large relay proxys.
