It's funny, at the time I looked at the 90s as being nothing significant, especially when compared to the 70s. I thought a lot of the pop culture was trashy & fake.

I turned to grunge which seemed to have more substance & heart.

I loved the idea of the 70s, everything felt real.

I guess it's all about perspective.
