#mulberry #propagation #grownostr mulberry is growing really fast. I’ve already got multiple trees on their second year that have fruit on them. Mulberry might be one of the top plants that I grow. It’s super easy to propagate.

It’s also fun to prune the trees a certain way I will typically keep one main shoot and then prune down the rest . But it also gives you good practice so that you can see what the tree does when you prune it a certain way.

I try to clean the trees. I don’t always do that. Hopefully, I’m not spreading disease across all the trees. The balance is how many mulberries do I need and how many cuttings do I need or should I just let the tree grow?

I have a couple of giant mulberry trees in my yard, my dog loves it 😆 Not too sure on the pruning, we just let them go wild and they seem to do well. But they’re much more mature. Good luck!

Wish we had pruned our two mulberry trees better, so we could reach fruit better. Just planted some white mulberry cuttings, and i want to prune those when its time.
