Did you know that the Japanese have a word for 10,000?
In English:
10 = ten
100 = hundred
1,000 = thousand
10,000 = 10 x thousand
In Japanese:
10 = juu
100 = hyaku
1,000 = sen
10,000 = man (not 10 x sen)
In Japanese there is a word for 100 million: oku (億)
