We created a world of information, where thoughts and concepts can be distributed with little effort or cost, and anyone can contribute to and improve on any previous idea, allowing anyone else to benefit from it.

Then a system was placed on top of it to make these intangible communications artificially scarce and to prevent people from benefitting from the information.

Because it takes effort to make things of value, whether they’re “scarce” or not. Have you been diagnosed with autism?

Yes I have, that's why I felt specifically targeted by your first post lol.

If effort is required to make something, compensation for the creator's time can be given in money, then after that the asset should be shareable freely. However, if it doesn't require as much effort to distribute an already existing asset, it's less clear whether distributors should require to pay or be paid.
