💯 it's fascinating how weird modern products are once you figure out how the originals are made.

Like, I make my own soap and now I don't buy cleaning products. Baking soda and vinegar can clean anything. And all you need for laundry is washing soda and oxygen bleach. Spritz a bit of vinegar into the dryer instead of a dryer sheet. So many little things like that.

Even cleaning a bathroom and shower with a spray bottle of vinegar becomes a 5-minute task if you do it weekly, which is so easy since it takes so little time!

It's like, life was easy, but fiat made it hard. I'm kinda miffed about that.

It’s a weird mindset where you’re made to think you simply cannot accomplish a task without buying something to do it.

It’s definitely like that in the art world as well. It’s all in your intentionality when drawing or painting something, not whether your pen or pencil has the latest OS on it.

Yeah man I’ve got a wicked little recipe for laundry detergent. Washing soda, baking soda, epsom salts, sea salt and then vinegar for a pre soak. Essential oils mixed in

Tooth paste is a work in progress but - coconut oil, baking soda, peppermint oil, clove oil and a touch of hydrogen peroxide

Countertop cleaner/cleaner - vinegar, some lemon juice, water, Castile soap

Don’t make my own soap yet but I’ve switched over to extra virgin olive oil bar soap & Castile soap

Deodorant & dishwasher powder are the next projects

Literally feel cleaner than ever too, pretty crazy
