The Brâncoveanu family, including Prince Constantin, his sons, and his counselor Ianache, faced execution for refusing to renounce their Christian faith. They were offered their lives if they converted to Islam, but they chose martyrdom. The Prince watched each of his sons beheaded before his own execution, remaining steadfast in his beliefs. They are remembered for their courage and unwavering devotion to Christ.
