Do American law enforcers swear any kind of oath to police apolitically?

The only oath I am aware of is the sheriff vows to uphold the constitution.

Sheriff's can do what they want. They have more power than the federal government, as they can simply not enforce laws. And that's a good thing because it cuts both ways. I don't care at all if Leftist towns want to keep aliens. That's on them. As long as the communities that want them gone get them gone, that's what matters. It basically imprisons them in leftist shitholes.

To add a bit more. Sheriff's are also the most decentralized elected officials, so they are easier to hold accountable to the will of the people in their smaller locales. If every Sheriff in US got together and refused to enforce unjust bullshit, (eg. Lockdowns) we would have a completely different country overnight and I think that's eventually the route we're going to take without a shot fired.
