Im afraid to buy a new laundry washing machine because I fear new stuff wont even last 10 years. Have been fixing this thing every few years as something breaks. Im either the 3rd or 4th owner.

Yes, a new one won't last 10 years, by design, and after you buy it, if anything goes wrong with the electronics (after warranty of course) you might as well dump it.

Sounds good no need to upgrade this device no break through in the tech

How did you get that AI analysis

Also you're correct as soon as I got a new dryer it broke within 1 day

https://homespy.io/decoded is the site i used. I dont know if this unit is 1994 or possibly 2004? Its definitely not 2014 or 2024.

I know the schematic is under the front panel for the controls. Next time i take it apart i'll see if there is any dating on that.

I've got an LG front loader that I've had for about 14 years and I haven't had a lot of issues except I can't feed it hot water without it flooding for some reason. And for a couple of years I had to unplug it and then plug it back in after every load, which oddly just went away after a while 💁.

Mechanically it will likely keep kicking for a while. When it goes it will most likely be a control board that isn't made anymore.

I'm still on my dryer from 2007, sadly the washer had to be replaced in '17 or '18 after 4 moves with us it gave up the ghost.

Kenmoore is solid. I say fix. One day, you won’t have a choice, and you will know. Full disclosure: my ‘04 Camry just rolled over 316K miles.
