Ooo may be able to start my weekend early today… 3:20 and I have 15 stops left. What’s everyone planning this weekend? I’m getting a newer car tomorrow morning, hopefully make it home in time to start building our chicken coupe before podcasting tomorrow night. Then it’s supposed to rain and flurry Sunday so probably just hang out indoors editing podcast and playing with our new bitaxe.

I am also getting a new car tomorrow. The suspension on my old car has finally gotten to the point where I no longer feel safe driving it, so it was time.
Yeah, I spent around $6000 on repairs on my commuter car (way more than it is worth 🤦♂️) and now the oil pump is going out
I am stuck inside a lot this weekend. So I am doing meal prep for my boy that is on a purée diet. Homemade chicken noodle soup and then put in blender. I was able to make a total of 28 meals for the freezer and a few for this week
And my husband and I were able to do our first test log on the sawmill last night!
Nice!! I’ve thought about seeing if I could work(volunteer) at my Dad’s friend’s sawmill. But I have eyesight issues and don’t think it is wise. Being an adult sucks sometimes! 😕
Don’t give up my friend, he might still have some help that he could use you for at the sawmill

It’s been a long week so I am looking to disappear out into nature for the weekend. It’s going to be chilly and possibly snow and rain, but was thinking of maybe going backpack camping for the first time this season. I know it’s early, but I’m itching to get out so I might brave the weather. Other than that, just play on nostr 💜
That sounds fun, one of my oldest friends and I want to do a winter camping/hiking trip, but neither of us have ever done a winter camp… this weather might help us prepare for a real winter camp… unfortunately neither of us can do it this weekend

Yeah, I’ve been interested in them for a while and although I know it’s a very very slim chance of making it worth it monetarily, I figure $180 and the small amount of the electricity that it uses will at least be something cool to play around with, I mean I know people that spend more than that on lotto tickets every week
