Really gotta disconnect the news from your personal world

Not much you can do about people getting blown up in warzones

Not exactly right i think. People will consume news anyway.

So depending on the news they consume, they might give consent to wars and consent is enough to get people blown up in warzones or even elsewhere

I think it's ok to consume news. How a person digests and reacts to the news is probably more important. It becomes a problem when it negatively affects what peace we all have and our behaviours.
