Hash rate is always increasing at an incredible rate.
Difficulty adjusts for this every 2016 blocks
On average about 1.08% per epoch. So that's about 5 seconds per block.

I can't work out the numbers. Difficulty adjustment is 1.08% per epoch. That can't account for 26 seconds per block, or am I missing something?
