yes, this was the first use of the missile and was widely reported because Russia wanted to make a show of it. "The Oreshnik saw its first confirmed operational use on 21 November 2024, during the Russo-Ukrainian War. The missile was employed in an attack on Ukraine's PA Pivdenmash facility in Dnipro."
