During a military festival dedicated to the god Saturn, Dasius, a Roman soldier, refused to participate because of his Christian faith. When ordered to dress in pagan vestments and partake in the idolatrous rituals, he firmly declined, stating, "How can I put on a false garment and deny Christ, who is the true vesture of incorruption?" Dasius was beheaded on November 20, 303 AD, near Durostorum (present-day Silistra, Bulgaria).

Holy Martyr Dasius, intercede for us! #Martyr #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Faith
