Researchers at Cornell University have developed an AI-driven #attack that can steal #passwords with up to 95% accuracy by listening to keystrokes. The #AI model was trained on the sound of #keystrokes and deployed on a nearby phone, which listened for keystrokes on a MacBook Pro and reproduced them accurately. The attack was tested during #Zoom and #Skype calls, with accuracy rates of 93% and 91.7% respectively. The volume of the keyboard did not affect the accuracy of the attack; instead, the AI model focused on #waveform, #intensity, and #timing of each keystroke.
