yes, and this requires physical proximity for a reasonable size of population working towards it... but the value of having alignment with your neighbours tends to cause clustering... i'm here on Madeira for the moment precisely because there is so many bitcoiners here, i expect in the next few years this will blow up in a big way, madeirans are pretty cranky people in general and super mad about both lisbon and brussels trying to dictate shit to them, so we form a natural alternative choice
there is other regions that are building this up as well, i expect this is going to be a virus over the next few years, and of course TPTB will overreact to it, but strike everywhere except for at us
