How does the liquid work? Is it lightning alternative for fast and cheap payment? Newer seen liquid wallet 😏
It’s a side chain created by Blockstream, it is lower fees than on chain more confidential and is better for larger off chain payments, Lightning is good for smaller payments. It has had relatively low adoption tho but this high fee environment might be the catalyst for more adoption. In a high fee environment that could change. When bitcoin fees are low, liquid has very limited use case but in a high fee environment that could change quite quickly. Worth exploring.
It can, but not right now and not for newbies.
It's better for them to focus on onchain and LN with practical use today.
