What about a country? Do people care what Congress does with their tax money?
With Bitcoin being pseudo anonymous it might offer both insight and protection from prying eyes.
Imagine douche bag politicians sending money to one of their embezzlement ass clowns for a worthless Green New Deal pet project. The people might be able to see that massive chunk of Bitcoin movement.
I believe part of Bitcoin isn't just about 21 million Bitcoins but also about squashing corruption by being able to see the transactions. Could it also be used on the people? Odds are it's probably easier to watch a few than many.
Ya know at one point I would have agreed with this… but I could care less now because any state level actor knows better then to do this with bitcoin now… they will use whatever won’t get them caught…
